Collingwood Jazz & Blues at the Station Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Station/Museum, 45 St Paul Street, Collingwood Downtown A highlight of summer in Collingwood. This Wednesday evening series of concerts, in its 6th year, is held at the Collingwood Station/Museum in Downtown Collingwood in a beautiful park like setting. The concerts attract an audience of local residents, guests, visitors and tourists. Concerts begin at 6 pm, finish at 8 pm and feature a wide range of some of the finest musicians in Canada. The 8 pm finish gives the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely dinner at one of the excellent restaurants in Downtown Collingwood. Here’s the line-up for the season: JULY 4 - JORDAN JOHN & BLUES ANGELS

Location: Collingwood Curling Club
The girlfriends program will run every Wednesday night from 6-8pm at the Collingwood Curling Club.Girlfriends is an after school and summer program for all girls in grades 7 & 8 and is run by women, for young women. It is hands on and active in nature, with volunteer mentors and guest female professionals from the community providing positive leadership and serving as role models for the participants. It is our hope to help develop the self esteem of young woman, to inspire and to empower them. We want to encourage them to have choice and most importantly to be confident in the choices they make.
